SEND Inclusion Award
Here at Lomeshaye, we are proud to announce that we received the SEND Inclusion Award in October 2019. This accreditation recognises how inclusive we are for both children and their families, as well as the high quality provision that children receive within our school.
During this process a working group (Mrs Kelly: SENDCo; Mrs Holden: Assistant Head Teacher; Mrs Safdar: SEND Governor; Mrs Cooke: SEN TA); worked in conjunction with all staff, governors, parents and children to collect a broad range of evidence to support the process. During the accreditation process, current practices were evaluated and commended, and a final review has enabled us to create an action plan in order to develop future improvements in line with set objectives from OFSTED and the SEND Code of Practice.
