Mission Statement

Lomeshaye’s Pupil Leadership Team endeavours to be the voice of the pupils and to lead change in a way that allows all to Aspire, Believe and Achieve.

Lomeshaye’s Pupil Leadership Intent:

A pupil leadership team who is the voice of the school and ensures that every pupil’s voice is heard.
A pupil leadership team who listens, who responds, who leads by example, who inspires to drive change and makes things happen.
A pupil leadership team with intent, the ability to implement and to create impact.
A pupil leadership team that lives and breathes the ethos of Aspire-Believe-Achieve.
 Lomeshaye’s Pupil Leadership Implementation

Our Pupil Leadership Team implements by:

Providing regular forums for representatives from all classes and year groups to raise, discuss and propose resolutions about issues which are important to the pupils they represent.
Be the school’s pupil ‘middle leaders’ by regularly communicating between pupils and the school’s Senior Leadership Team to pave the way to action our intents.
Working with the wider community and outside agencies to lead change.

We aim to show impact termly and in a variety of areas such as:

The curriculum and pupil outcomes through learning walks, book scrutinies and pupil conferencing
The wider life of the school through the Aspire Believe Achieve awards
Our school environment e.g. the school garden project
