World Book Day - Thursday 2nd March marked the annual celebration of World Book Day. Throughout the day, the children took part in some fantastic events to celebrate our shared love of reading. We even had an extra special visitor in school - Samantha Giles, a talented actress and author, who shared an extract from one of her wonderful books based on Pendle Hill.
Following her expressive reading, Samantha kindly signed personal copies of her book for some of the children - what an incredible opportunity!
To further mark this occasion, all classes took part in the BBC live lesson, where the famous Michael Rosen
was a guest speaker. He even 'tweeted' our school on Twitter!
